digiSTORY KC was part of the fun at Maker Faire KC 2016. We hosted a booth in the “Stage to Screen” section on the lower floor of Union Station. We provided hands-on experience for those interested in adding an action sequence to our Claymation animation. Lots of kids of all ages joined in on the ongoing production. We also demonstrated 3D virtual reality through Google Cardboard viewers.
Many booth visitors expressed interest in participating in future workshops hosted by digiSTORY KC’s digiKIDS program. Public workshops on digital storytelling topics will be offered for kids later this year. Watch our events page for information on when these workshops will be available.
