Yes. digSTORY KC offers digital storytelling workshops to kids in Kansas City’s urban core through our KCdigiKids program. Through that program we also offer workshops to teachers and leaders of non-profit programs that promote STEM training for kids.

About Digital Storytelling
Many in Kansas City are starting to recognize that digital storytelling is a growing economic sector in KC. A 2013 study by the Mid-America Regional Council identified that 484 firms that hire employees in digital storytelling positions. That study pointed out that 33,249 employees in the Kansas City metro area are involved in digital storytelling jobs. That number will grow by 15.2 percent by 2022.
We define digital storytelling as “the use of computer, digital and web technologies to create narrative solutions that are enhanced by their creative use of media. Digital storytelling enjoys two unique advantages: 1) digital technology offers greatly expanded and fascinating ways to create and portray a story and, 2) the Internet offers worldwide reach for the storyteller.
