Learn how animation works by constructing a flip book and a thaumatrope.  Discover how still images can appear to move.  Learn how frames and frame rates are important to the animation industry. This workshop is offered to students in grades 3 – 7.  Parents, feel free to participate during this hands-on activity.  This workshop is offered as part of Kansas City’s Remake Learning Days program from the KC STEM Alliance (@STEMKC).  DEADLINE TO REGISTER: May 6th.

Thanks to the DeBruce Foundation (@DeBruceFound) for funding the cost of our workshop kits. Thanks, too, to Young Audiences for making their facilities available for this workshop.  #RemakeDaysKC @digiSTORYCenter @remakelearningdays @KansasCityYoungAudiences
