Many famous animators got their start creating stop-motion animation. This process involves posing characters in scenes and situations and photographing each stage of their movement to create animation that reveals their story. In this digiSTORY KC workshop\, Girl Scout participants will work in teams of 2 or 3 to create an original story which they will animate through Claymation\, LEGO® characters or other objects. They will photograph their character scenes against a Green Screen background using a laptop and webcam. They will add voiceovers\, sound effects\, music tracks\, titles\, credits and other features to provide multimedia interest. This process involves posing characters in scenes and situations and photographing each stage of their movement to create animation that reveals their story. In this digiSTORY KC workshop\, participants will work in teams of 2 or 3 to create an original story which they will animate through Claymation\, LEGO® characters or other objects. They will photograph their character scenes against a Green Screen background using a laptop and webcam. They will add voiceovers\, sound effects\, music tracks\, titles\, credits and other features to provide multimedia interest.
